this is a simple, sound cabernet from argentina at a very reasonable price point.

aroma - cherry, cocoa, and smoke
flavor -light, cherry and chocolate with dusty tannins. a nice finish with lingering oak, chocolate and fruit. un-ripe tannins at the end point detract from the appeal of this wine.

the bottom line - california cab blend. unoffensive, but somewhat lacking in coherent structure. not great, but a very good value at the $7.49 price point.

- southeastern australian cabernet. solid simple cab, relatively light in body and somewhat sweet. very well balanced for such a young wine. an excellent value. would pair well with pasta and/or a movie.
